FY2026 HMDP VISITING EXPERT IN SYSTEMS REDESIGN FOR SCALING INTEGRATED HOME-BASED CARE – DR RON SABAR

Dr Ron Sabar is founder and President at Sabar Health. A Family and Palliative Medicine specialist, and an MBA from INSEAD, Dr Sabar is recognized as a leading expert in home hospitalization. He founded Sabar Health Home Hospital in 2005, which has grown to become Israel's premier home hospital service. Serving over 3,000 patients of diverse ages across the nation at any given time in several H@H wards ranging from Internal Medicine to surgery and psychiatry, the organization has earned eight distinguished awards. Under Dr Sabar's leadership, Sabar Health operates at the highest medical and professional standards, overseen by Israel's Ministry of Health and in partnership with the nation's four Health Maintenance Organisations. Dr Sabar's vision for the company stems from his belief that a patient's home is the most natural and comfortable environment for care.

In addition to his role at Sabar Health, Dr. Sabar is the chair of the Israeli Palliative Medicine Association, he co-founded Epilog, where he serves as Chief Medical Officer. Epilog is a pioneering end-of-life care platform that offers a digital companion to provide personalized guidance for individuals facing serious illnesses, ensuring a seamless transition to care that prioritizes quality of life. Dr Sabar is also an active investor and consultant for Identifai-Genetics. This company specializes in advanced bioinformatics technology to provide early and comprehensive non-invasive prenatal screening for genetic syndromes, pushing the frontiers of genetic health services.
