Professor Lori Roggman is the Ministry of Health’s HMDP Visiting Expert in Social-Health Integration to Address Determinants of Health - Developmental Parenting and Home Visiting Services. Her HMDP Programme is scheduled for 17 February 2025 to 28 February 2025.
About the visit/HDMP expert
Dr Lori Roggman, Professor of Human Development at Utah State University, is a renowned expert in early child development and parental support. Her distinguished career, which began as a home visitor, has evolved into pioneering research on infant development within caregiving relationships and the effectiveness of home visiting practices. Dr Roggman has developed innovative observation methods used by researchers and practitioners worldwide and has served as the local team principal investigator for the national Early Head Start Research and Evaluation Project. Her work has significantly contributed to understanding and improving services for families with infants and toddlers, making her a prominent figure in developmental parenting and early childhood interventions.
