A Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations with focus on the processing and supplying of medications, the gathering of patient information for the pharmacists to review, product preparation, product distribution and inventory control. Pharmacy Technicians work under the supervision of Pharmacists, in accordance with pharmacy laws and regulations, and under institution’s guidelines.

List of qualifications and its requirements

You need to acquire	At	Minimum entry requirement
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science	Nanyang Polytechnic Ngee Ann Polytechnic Republic Polytechnic Temasek Polytechnic	GCE ‘O’ Level
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Healthcare (Pharmacy Support)	Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore	GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level with relevant work experience
Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceutical Science) with relevant work experience, including the completion of 20-week Pharmacy Technician Entry-to-Practice On-the-Job Training and Assessments	Republic Polytechnic	GCE ‘O’ Level, Nitec/Higher Nitec

Single Module Offer (Part of ADipPS): All modules (except project modules) of ADipPS are offered.
