Pharmacy Specialist Training and Accreditation
The Pharmacists Registration Act 2007, which came into effect on 1 September 2008, made provisions for the accreditation and registration of specialist pharmacists.
These include the establishment of the Pharmacy Specialists Accreditation Board (PSAB) of which the functions are to define the specialties in the practice of pharmacy for the purposes of maintaining and keeping the Register of Specialists, accrediting the training programmes for specialists and certifying persons who have the qualifications for registration as specialists.
For more information on accreditation and registration of Specialist Pharmacists, please visit the Pharmacy Specialists Accreditation Board (PSAB) website at www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg/psab.
